"My husband, 90-year-old mom and handicapped sister spent 23 years in a large, unique mother-daughter home in Bridgewater. The home served us well functionally but was never our dream home. We planned on a major remodeling project but went into sticker shock after receiving several estimates. We really wanted to find our dream home but never thought we could find something that could accommodate all of us and our special needs. We also worried that having our home on the market would be very stressful for my mom.
My husband started half-heartedly searching on the internet. He ran across a home and contacted the broker, Cecelia Bogart at Weichert Realtors. As it turned out we bought the first home Cecelia showed us despite seeing dozens of others over several months. Our Bridgewater home was a difficult sell - a 45 year-old center hall colonial that needed some serious updating, especially my mom's side of the house. Cecelia went to extraordinary lengths to get our home noticed, including getting a full page "featured home" segment in the Courier News and running several open houses. Cecelia worked long hours, seven days a week and probably 10 hour days - we felt like we were the only clients she had although I know for a fact this was not the case. She was very patient and kind with my mom, spending a couple days every week showing the home and always accommodating my mom's special needs.
I still can't believe it but we moved into our dream home on June 25th, 2009 - we had so much fun this summer decorating our gorgeous home and grilling/entertaining on our beautiful terrace. I can't thank Cecelia enough for helping make our dream come true.
